Booking Details
Our ski holidays run from Sunday to Sunday in order to avoid the busy changeover day and to afford you a day’s skiing on empty pistes. Furthermore, this allows us to offer long weekends. Check in is from 4 pm on the day of arrival and check out is at 10 am on the day of departure.
We will do our utmost to put together a complete package to suit your needs. Please do not hesitate to call to discuss your options at a budget and level to suit you. We would be delighted to tailor make a holiday for you whether that be a two week family holiday, a long weekend of extensive off piste skiing or a self catered break.
Price Includes
Prices are in pounds per person per week and include: 7 nights chalet accommodation as described, cooked breakfast daily, afternoon tea daily. Aperitifs, canapés, four course evening meal, including wine, coffee and chocolates daily (except on Wednesdays when chalet staff have full day off). Local taxes. Mini bus service in resort, linen and towels.
What is Not Included?
Travel, transfers, holiday and medical insurance, lift passes, ski hire, tuition, lunches, evening meal on staff day off, breakfast on arrival, nanny service.
Children
Chalet 1802 does not provide a nanny service and, therefore, may not be suitable for very young children. If you are bringing young children then the whole chalet must be booked.
Minibus
Due to the disparate nature of Chamonix's ski areas we provide, for your convenience, a courtesy minibus service to shuttle you to and from your chosen ski slopes 5 days a week (excluding staff day off and change over day), and into town for that all important apres ski, running until 10 o'clock after which time we're happy to organise and book a taxi for you.
Please note that we can only offer one pick up and one drop off per party.
The Farmhouse
Morning drop off 8.00 am - 10.00 am
Afternoon pick up 4.00 pm - 10.00 pm
Chalet Sous Les Bois and Chalet Schuss
8.00 am - 10.00 pm
We trust that the self drive guests are happy to use their own vehicles, although they are welcome to use this service. Please respect departure and collection times.
In the event of break down, bad weather, illness, accident or priority use, Chalet 1802 cannot guarantee that the resort vehicle will be able to transport client/s within and between resorts. The resort operated by Chalet 1802 has an adequate free public bus system. The minibus service that Chalet 1802 operates is a gratuitous service and any client travelling in a resort vehicle does so at his/her own risk. Priority use of the vehicle goes to clients who fly.
Special Dietary Requirements
Please notify us of any special dietary requirements. Please note that we cannot guarantee a nut free environment.
Smoking
All our chalets are non-smoking.
Outdoor Shoes
Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the chalets so please bring a pair of indoor shoes or slippers for use in the chalets.
Pets
We regret that we are unable to accept animals.
Chalet Schuss
Chalet Schuss is a ski in ski out chalet but is situated on a red run. It also has a 150m snowy drive leading to the chalet which you may sometimes need to walk up.
