Skiing Holidays

The Town And Apres Ski

As long as you are an active non skier there’s plenty to keep you occupied. There are a lot of marked winter walks, and you can also quite easily meet up with friends on the mountain for lunch. There’s also the Olympic bobsleigh, a bowling alley, ice rink and relaxation centre.

There are some great options on the mountain. Towards Champagny there is a wonderful restaurant called Verdons Sud with a great sun terrace. Le Forperet is an excellent restaurant and lovely views and Au Bon Vieux Temps has a lot of character and is worth a visit.

La Plagne isn’t renowned for its wild après ski, but there are are good number of bars. Monica’s Pub and La Mine in Plagne 1800 are both busy after skiing and later on most people head to Scotty’s Pub and Le No’blem. The Saloon is open until 4am and everyone ends up there at the end of the evening.
