Chalet Schuss 2009/10
Many thanks to you and your team for a great week at Chalet Schuss. The chalet was very comfortable, and Andy and Jade both looked after us very well. Jade's cooking was superb and she was excellent in catering for the 'wheat free' request. The transport to and from the chalet was always available when needed. Thank you for your efficient help witht he arrangements not just for the chalet booking, but with the additional information and support with booking transfers and ski passes. We all thoroughly enjopyed our stay.

Was a first Christams away from home and it has been an amazing time, filled with lots of firsts! The hot tub and sauna were great particularly after a day skiing. Outstanding downhilling from the top of Les Houches. Crazy rafting from Chamonix and a killer walk up to the first station of the Aiguille du Midi. We had lots of bbq's on the decking. Enjoy.

I just wanted to drop you an email to thank you for an amazing stay. We had a superb time that went beyond all expectations!! The Chalet is wonderful, so homely and comfortable. The views were out of this world, views I will always remember. I was overwhelmed sitting in the spa with a glass of wine, surrounded by snow and such fabulous views. My biggest thanks go to Ben and Eleanor who really made the holiday for us! They are a fantastic team together and work so incredibly hard to please, yet manage to fit in and be part of the family. Ben's cooking was amazing, the food we had was incredible and he even managed to fit in special requests.... My Dad is still talking about his amazing Crepes Suzettes!! I was so impressed at how he catered so well for the children, providing a nutritious yet fun menu while entertaining them at the same time. They are still talking about the 'Dead Fish' in the sink and Ben's special cakes! And Eleanor....... Well what can I say!?!? She is so lovely! I don't know how I would have coped with ski school for the three girls without her, she was a complete star!! She somehow just managed to come along like Mary Poppins and sweep them up and get them ready and out the door! She kept the chalet beautiful and went beyond the call of duty to ensure we had everything we needed. Again, like Ben, she kept the girls amused and even let them 'help' with the cleaning! I think with the cooking and cleaning skills they have learned, I'll have 3 budding Chalet Hosts for you in 15 years or so!! Thank you so much for a truly fantastic holiday, I will treasure the memories forever! Ps...... I haven't even mentioned the wine!!!!!!! AMAZING...... The wine selection was gorgeous, it seemed to compliment every meal we had and with Eleanor around I was never without a full glass!! In fact she invented 'wine o'clock' and had me a filled glass as soon as I had put the children to bed! THANK YOU!!!!!

We had a wonderful week at Chalet Schuss. Without exception we all enjoyed our week - not a cross word throughout which is not bad when you remember we had three generations under one roof. Everybody came away feeling relaxed and rested which we have to say was very much due to the efforts of Eleanor and Ben who looked after us royally. The food was excellent so much so we are now all on strict diets for a few weeks! As mentioned the success of the week was very much enhanced by Eleanor and Ben. Both are great people and an asset to your business and none of us can speak too highly of them. They quite became members of the family from the first day. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and they were a delight to have around the house – so much so the children were looking forward to their arrival each evening but I have a feeling this was something to do with food. Again many thanks for a wonderful week and I am sure you will be seeing some of us again.

I can fault nothing regards Chalet Schuss and our excellent hosts, Ben and Eleanor. We all had a fantastic week, the skiing was great, good conditions, and lots of fun, but the chalet and the service Ben and Eleanor provided made it for us all. The food was exceptional, and the lifts, transfer of ski’s, and general provision of the Hot tub, sauna etc equally as good. I would be glad to return, and although its unlikely we will have the same hosts, if they decide to do further seasons with you, make sure you let us know. Best wishes to you to also for 2009. Please pass on our thanks and compliments once again to Ben and Eleanor, and please add us to your mailing list for late 2009, in preparation for early 2010.

I don't really know where to begin apart from saying a massive/hugh/very very big thank you!!! I've had an absolutely brilliant week and loved every minute...well almost every minute! From the moment Daff met us at teh airport to the moment he took us back (hopefully we'll get there!) I've laughed non stop...well apart from a few moments on the Valley Blanche. I have so many fab times/memories I can't list all of them but Charlie's cooking has to be very memorable and I won't be forgetting the annoying traffic police. Spending time with friends and meeting you before I move back to Japan has been great. And what a great place to do it at Chalet Schuss. I wish you all the best for the future. What can we say? Lucas just said to me "That was the best Christmas ever" and so many times during our stay the same thing was said by all of us: notably after Christmas breakfast when the pancakes, eggs, bacon, pain au chocolat and pate, just started the day perfectly and also after our sledge race on Christmas night which finished the day magically! We all have had a Chritmas which we will never forget and for all the right reasons. Thank you so much for all your time and efforts, especially playing with the children and teaching us all the right way to eat!

Our stay at Chalet Schuss has flown by and yet it seems an age since that first day we arrived in your winter wonderland. The views from the living room are stunning. Speechless, gobsmacked, in awe - what an amazing week - really it's been a fantastic holiday for so many reasons. Chalet Schuss is a dream and was a real home for the week, making it difficult to leave. You've looked after us so well and fed us so well too - meal after meal of delicious food.
