Chamonix is renowned as a mecca for off piste skiers and snowboarders, and it certainly deserves that reputation. Chamonix is also thought of as not having the number and variety of runs as other resorts such as the endless motorway cruising of Meribel or Courchevel. And, whilst this is undoubtedly true, Chamonix’s 5 different ski areas do offer a range and variety of skiing.
