About Us

We met during the first week of university at Nottingham and have been together ever since - which is either quite sweet or quite sad depending on how you look at it.

With degrees in English Literature and Art History under our belts we realised that options were short, and decided to leave behind the lure of London and head to the Alps to 'live the dream'. After a winter season's work experience in Meribel we headed to Chamonix, and founded Chalet 1802 in 2003.

Unfortunately living the dream turned out to be six years of mud and concrete as we literally built Chalet 1802 up from a small three bed chalet operator to our portfolio of three fantastic chalets today.

And that's it. Three chalets. No more.

Owning and operating just three chalets exclusively in Chamonix means that we can continue to provide an excellent and personal service to you.
